Who are "your" people?" By your people do you mean your biological kin, or ethnic group? Are you making reference to a spouse or lover? Are your "people" your oldest friends, workmates, your running buddies or some other social set? Or are "your" people those folk who hold a similar political, religious, or philosophic ideology ?
Knowledge like water seeks its own level. The action of seeking by metaphoric "water" is a spiritual, chemical, and biological process that can't be rushed; a process that operates under the laws of affinity.
The laws of affinity show that like attracts like. In other worlds "your" people" like what you like, do what you do and go where you go. Your people "vibrate" at the same rate as you do or on a harmonizing frequency.
The more specific your tastes, the more eclectic your interests, the more one moves away from the center , i.e. the dominant note or frequency of thought controlled by mainstream groups or institutions into the outer limits, the periphery of human awareness.
On these island outposts are found the "others," "those people" folk who march to a "different drummer" or frequency altogether. In 10 years* or so the masses generally catch up to their vibratory rate, but the evolutionary contingent will have moved up and onto another level on the Great Spiral.
