Well readers of Neo Hoodoo blog, we have finally come to the end of this here road. Almost three years! Where did the time go? There was information shared but some was barely explained, while a good many more topics were left out in this medium.
Often when writing a post or note about Hoodoo I would sign off with the word success. Success is the seal of any practitioners work. Either it works or causes changes according to your intent- or it doesn't. There are many reasons why a system doesn't yield results- chief among them is that the operator or practitioner doesn't fully understand the process, i.e. he or she is following a recipe or traditional ritual without knowing or seeing the energy exchange.A second reason is internal blocks. These blocks may occur even where there is an intellectual understanding, as the blocks are internal they exist in the psychological landscape of the Operator caused by his or her issues and battles with self-worth, status, guilt, faith, image, ego, or competence. This conflict and/or ill-will towards self or others can cancel the very changes they seek to make.
The existence of internal barriers is why old skool practitioners were cautioned by their mentors to "know themselves". It was incumbent to work on Self before one attempted to do work for others. This ongoing "labor of love" has become an unpopular aspect of spiritual technology. Why? It demands a constant EFFORT and without it there is a decrease in consistant successful results.
Part of the dislike of discipline in practice comes from the poverty-mindset which believes that they should be GIVEN something they have not earned by effort. The belief in accepting charity is in opposition to the empowered mental state of wealth which prefers to give it. Another tenet of the poverty-mindset is that one is NOT RESPONSIBLE for their situation or condition. What is wrong is the fault of family, skin color, gender, government, lack of opportunity, or a bad destiny. If one cannot accept responsibility- then one cannot change anything.
It is not a matter of learning, each culture educates people as to what their place is in life, be it top of the heap, bottom-feeder or somewhere in the tepid in between of the pyramid's structural frame. Not all will accept the endoctrination and opt to orchestrate a different "plan" and rule their own world.
Many bring a lot of innate talent into this life which they never fully develop. Others work hard to develop what they were given, but lack the practical skills to manage other circumstances in life. However, there are those who enter this world with no talent at all but with an intense drive to learn and develop skill sets and strategies which will allow them to LEAD, CONTROL, MANAGE and PROFIT from and by talented people in every field of endeavor.
