Our Earth is in "lockdown." During most of the 24 hour interval, for the 7 day cycle our non physical vehicles or subtle bodies are blocked from "off-world" travel.
At night our dreams are dimly lit as we travel in the shadow of the earth replaying the days events, our thoughts, fears, anxieties, hopes and fantasies like mini movies in our heads as we rest/toss in our beds; dreams forgotten the moment we open our eyes.
This is due to The Grid, i.e. the "darkside" or evil twin of the INTERNET/WORLD WIDE WEB comprised of electronic transmissions of data. The Grid is formed by crossing lines of wireless transmissions that are amplified by HAARP satellites. The Grid appears as a glowing green net with openings, but functions as a dome around the planet.
The grid has "down times" formed by the TRIANGLE of the rotation of our planet, the position of the moon and the sun. Other events also affect it such as sun spots, eclipses, the jet stream, severe weather and other random factors.
When the grid is not "up" at night, the water and boat ritual provide the tools which can help you "navigate" out of the grid. However, you never know when this will occur as the effects of grid strength depend on your coordinates, i.e. where you live on the planet.
Why would one want to shake off the negatively charged electromagnetic signals? What is to be gained by being up above the planet, in the upper rooms or as the Old Hoodoos said "in the catbird seat?" Such a position allows one's dream body to recieve accurate "intel" or divine guidance about things such as one's evolution or destiny and/or coming catastrophic events.
As an aside this knowledge teaches that any divination system in operation while the grid is up is compromised or decreases in accuracy.
Another even more crucial factor is that the presence of the Grid confuses, interferes with and delays those souls who are trying to make their transition to the afterlife, as the threshold or exit out of physicality is also restricted by the functioning of the grid which makes the Earth into a cage.
Some of the concepts about being lifted in these endtimes or "last daze" are distorted and coded in religious paradigms as: ascension, resurrection and rapture.
